I joined Kisstour’s evening food tour whilst I was in Ho Chi Minh City. This was my first time I joined this food tour and I must admit this was the best experience I have had in my past trips to HCMC.
I was truly lucky to have my tour guide, Ms Diny who brought me to the various food location in HCMC. These are places that a foreigner like me will never know to go because these places are where the locals usually frequent. My first stop was at a roadside stall which sells such tasty banh mi. Next stop was also another stall which whips up delicious pancakes. Diny also brought me to the Ho Thi Ky Flower Market where I had one of the best ice cream, avocado mixed with coconut strips. Along the way, we also visited the old residences of troops who fought in the Vietnam war. Then it was to the cafe apartments with its glittering bright lights and the Waterbus Tu Thiem with its beautiful night scenery.
Throughout the ride, Diny so patiently shared the Vietnames culture. I was truly amazed with Diny’s knowledge of HCMC (despite her young age), not to mention her skilful manoeuvre through the busy streets in HCMC.😅
I will not hesitate to recommend her to my friends, should they visit HCMC. This is my star rating to Diny (10 out of 10)
