More Than a Beach City
The Kiss Da Nang City Tour is a 3.5-hour motorbike ride through Da Nang’s riverside landmarks, its oldest market and a hidden coffee house — on the back of a scooter driven by one of our áo dài lady riders.
Most travelers treat Da Nang as a beach stop between Hue and Hoi An. Fair enough — the sand is good. But the city along the Han River has its own stories: dragon legends, river trade, pagodas watching over fishing boats, and a market that has fed the city for generations. This tour is how we show them to you.
What You Will See and Taste
- Dragon Bridge, Love Bridge and the Carp Turning into Dragon — Da Nang’s riverside icons, with the local legends behind them;
- Linh Ung Pagoda on Son Tra Peninsula — home of the 67-meter Lady Buddha, the tallest Buddha statue in Vietnam, looking out over the whole bay;
- Con Market — one of the city’s oldest markets, where we walk you through the dried-seafood stalls and fabric aisles locals actually shop in;
- A proper local meal — lunch on the morning tour, supper on the afternoon tour. The menu changes seasonally and we adjust for allergies and restrictions;
- Nam House Coffee — a typical old Vietnamese house where the tour winds down over a slow phin coffee.
Half Day or Full Day?
This page is the half-day version, US $40 per person. If you want the longer loop — everything above plus the Marble Mountains and the Son Tra coastal road — we run a 7-hour full-day version at US $78 per person. Book your date here and write “full day” in your booking note, or ask us on WhatsApp.
Honest advice from our riders: if you are also joining the Kiss Da Nang Food Tour or the By Night tour, the half day is enough — between the two tours you will cover the city without repeating stops.
Which One Should You Book?
Most first-time visitors should book the half day. The 3.5-hour version at $40 USD covers the riverfront bridges, Linh Ung Pagoda on Son Tra and Con Market, which is the shortlist people actually came for. The 7-hour version at $78 USD is for guests who want depth rather than a highlights loop.

Is the Da Nang City Tour Worth It?
- Have half a day and no idea how the city fits together.
- Want Linh Ung Pagoda and Son Tra without renting a bike or arguing about a taxi fare.
- Like the idea of a market that opened in 1940 and still works as a market, not a souvenir hall.
- Are travelling solo and would rather have a local guide than a map.
- Want someone to answer the questions a viewpoint does not answer.
- Came to lie on the beach. My Khe is a genuinely good beach and 3.5 hours on a bike is the opposite of a beach day. Do the beach. Book the tour for another morning.
- Have three days and have already rented a scooter. If you are confident on two wheels and have the paperwork, you can reach every stop on this route yourself. The comparison table further down lays out what you gain and lose.
- Are here in the wet season and inflexible about dates. Da Nang’s rain arrives in earnest from September to December. We ride rain or shine with ponchos, and plenty of guests enjoy it, but if a grey wet ride would ruin your mood, book a day you can move.
- Want to drive yourself. This is a pillion tour. You ride behind your driver-guide the whole way.
- Are travelling with a baby. We do not recommend motorbike tours for infants, and we will say so rather than take the booking.
- Only want Ba Na Hills. That is a separate tour, by car, on a different road. This one stays in the city and on Son Tra.
