What a fabulous way to spend our first evening in Vietnam! Let me begin by noting I’m a larger woman and having never ridden a motorbike in my life, was quite fearful to begin with. Vanilla (my awesome guide) was able to quickly attain my complete trust and admiration as she and my brother’s lovely guide Wendy expertly navigated the chaotic traffic with a calm demeanour and offer of immense reassurance! They were absolutely rock stars and we are grateful for them keeping us so safe!!! The food we got to sample on the tour was of great calibre, and gave us an idea of where to go eat for the coming nights. The flower market was nice to see, and getting to sit and live like locals for a few hours was truly an unmatched feeling of cultural goodness. I still think of the spring rolls and the coconut ice cream! The sightseeing component of the your as we travelled on the bridge and toward the waterside was such a thrill! The other guides for the lovely couple who was on our tour were also so nice, knowledgeable and friendly. All in all, a top notch tour that truly felt like we were hanging out with our mates exploring the town in true local fashion. Vanilla even gave me a great recommendation for coconut coffee which I tried the following night. Thanks again ladies – we look forward to doing another tour with you soon!
