How Do You Get From Ho Chi Minh City to Da Nang?
Flying is the practical link: direct flights take about 1 hour 20 minutes, with roughly 50 departures a day. One-way fares start around $17 USD on Vietjet, while full-service fares on Vietnam Airlines typically run $40–80 USD.
The overnight train takes 16 to 18.5 hours, with soft-sleeper berths from about $48 USD — worth it only if the coastal ride itself is the point of the day. In peak months (June–August and December), book flights a few days ahead for the better fares.
