Da Nang at night: the Dragon Bridge lit up over the Han River with KissTour guests

Da Nang at Night: Best Things to Do After Dark (2026)

The best things to do in Da Nang at night in 2026 – Dragon Bridge…

Quick answer: The best things to do in Da Nang at night are catching the Dragon Bridge fire-and-water show (Friday to Sunday, 9:00 PM, free), riding the Sun Wheel at Asia Park, walking the Han River and Love Bridge, browsing the Helio or Son Tra night markets, and eating fresh seafood near My Khe Beach.

I’ve ridden guests around Da Nang after dark hundreds of times, and it’s my favourite part of the day. The heat drops, the bridges light up, and the whole riverfront comes alive. Here are the best things to do in Da Nang at night in 2026, with real times and prices so you can plan the evening yourself, or hop on the back of my bike and let me handle the route.

What is the best thing to do in Da Nang at night?

The Dragon Bridge (Cầu Rồng) fire-and-water show is the one thing nobody should miss. The giant steel dragon breathes fire for about 2 minutes, then sprays water for roughly 3 minutes, cycling through a 30-minute show. It’s completely free — no ticket, no booking — and you watch from the Bach Dang riverside promenade. Arrive by 8:30 PM on a Saturday, because the best riverbank spots fill up fast.

When is the Dragon Bridge fire show in 2026?

The show runs three nights a week, always at 9:00 PM:

Night Start time Length Cost
Friday 9:00 PM 30 min Free
Saturday 9:00 PM 30 min Free
Sunday 9:00 PM 30 min Free

There’s no show on weeknights, so plan your Da Nang evenings around the weekend if the dragon is on your list. You can read more about the bridge on Wikipedia.

Where can you ride the Sun Wheel and visit a night market?

Da Nang’s night markets and the Sun Wheel are all a short ride from the river. Here’s what’s open late and when:

Spot What it’s for Hours
Sun Wheel, Asia Park 115 m Ferris wheel, city lights Weekdays 3:00–10:00 PM · Weekends 9:00 AM–10:00 PM
Helio Night Market Da Nang’s biggest food market, near Asia Park Daily ~5:30–10:30 PM
Son Tra Night Market Food and shopping by Love Bridge & Dragon Bridge Daily evening
An Thuong Night Market Relaxed market in the beach area Daily ~6:00–11:00 PM

My tip: pair the Sun Wheel with Helio Market since they sit side by side, or do Son Tra Market right after the Dragon Bridge show — both are on the same stretch of the Han River.

Is My Khe Beach worth visiting at night?

Yes, but for a different reason. By night My Khe Beach goes quiet — cool sand, gentle waves, and a few beach bars still open. Locals gather with guitars and small seafood grills. It’s the calm counterweight to the bright riverfront, and a lovely last stop before heading back to your hotel. Skip the swim after dark (there are no lifeguards at night) and just enjoy the walk.

How do you see Da Nang at night without renting a scooter?

Riding an unfamiliar city in the dark isn’t for everyone, and Da Nang traffic near the bridges gets busy at showtime. Our Da Nang By Night tour runs 3.5 hours, from $35 per person. You ride pillion with one of our women drivers who knows exactly where to park for the fire show. She’ll point out the food stalls worth stopping at and string the bridges, markets, and beach into one smooth evening.
